Paices Wood Country Park, Aldermaston ~ Coppicing (with bonfire)

Who better than Terry, a man so obviously fired-up with enthusiasm and one who certainly knows his onions when it comes to managing a fire, to be in charge of clearing the brash at Paices Wood as part of CROW's final task before Christmas.

Well perhaps there was a little too much enthusiasm as a nearby tree began to show signs of suffering.

However in keeping with the season of the year we will not complain but offer our thanks to all who have supported us during the year and wish everyone a Very Happy Christmas.

(My apologies to all for my failure in not getting this on to the website until June and therefore the somewhat belated nature of the season's greetings which were none the less sincerely meant.)
