Arriving at Kings Meadow where we were to work on maintaining the willow beds and finding the site to be waterlogged with large areas beneath pools of water, it was quickly decided to abandon the task. Instead we headed off to Clayfield Copse which it must be said was also extremely wet and very muddy, to do some further coppicing in preparation for Bean Pole Day. This was the second consecutive week when the wet weather has resulted in a late change of task.
