Lousehill Copse, Tilehurst ~ Coppicing

"On Wednesday Crow started coppicing an area of Lousehill Copse in Tilehurst taking out the older wood of the Hazel to encourage young growth, let in light and encourage greater biodiversity. Many walkers pass through this area and our work has a great visual effect so we will revisit to judge the effect in the cold light of day and make necessary adjustments on our next visit in late November when we should finish the task."
