Orchid Field, Wargrave ~ Scrub clearance and dead hedging

A new site where the day was spent clearing scrub - mainly willow, bramble and garden escapees - much of which was used to create a dead hedge around the site's perimeter. As the name suggests orchids are to found at the site - common spotted, bee and pyramidal - while its dry, open aspect which we were attempting to maintain, means it is potentially home to slowworms and other reptiles.
