A change of day to allow this birch scrub to be cleared before the start of the nesting season - has anyone told the birds?

A day early but no reason for not celebrating St David's Day - bara brith kindly made by Bob.

Inevitably with such a task, much of the time was taken up clearing the cut material .....

..... as well as in treating the stumps.

End of task and virtually the whole of the designated area had been cleared with all but the largest branches burnt.
