Wokefield Common ~ Path clearance

The task which had been described as 'scrub clearance' morphed seamlessly into path clearance starting with the removal of an area of bramble at the edge of the car park which seemed to attract litter, in particular 'Special Brew' cans, before moving on to clear the bridle path starting by the pond near the car park and then crossing the road on to the north side of the Common.

Lunch near the pond and on a hot day most seek the shade of the trees.

A dragonfly, a Ruddy Darter, joins the group for lunch taking a special interest in the tools, in particular the bowsaw frames.

Final task, clearing where path meets Hollybush Lane.
