The bridle path which runs along the edge of Blackhouse Wood to Foxhole Lane was badly overgrown and as a result remained muddy in places despite the dry weather.
Once the bulk of the vegetation had been cleared we began removing some of the overhanging branches to allow in more light.
A feature of the path is the wild pear which leans over the path.
Path cleared! Hopefully this will allow the muddy patches to dry out at least until the next rain arrives.
