Eleven people joined leader Peter Scudamore for a dawn chorus walk around Clayfield Copse and Blackhouse Wood. The walk started at 4:30am.
Judith Oliver wrote "It was a lovely dawn, among the birds we heard were robins, black caps, great tits, long tailed tits, black caps, wood pigeons, jackdaws, blackbirds, garden warblers, chiff chaffs, white throats, green finch and song thrush. We also saw a nest of noctule bats settling down for the day in a hole in a tree along the Ride and a tawny owl signing off for the night. Magic!"
