March 2019 ~ Five a Day Market Garden, Englefield ~ Willow cutting

Despite the drenching curtesy of Storm Erik on our previous visit, we returned to complete clearing the willow beds on what was thankfully a dry day.

The cut willow was stacked, the bulk to be chipped and used as mulch around the fruit trees.

Job complete!

A future task - replacing one of the site's raised beds which is badly decayed and in danger of collapsing, .....

..... task currently scheduled for the end of April.
