Five a Day Market Garden, Englefield ~ Willow harvest

Having postponed the task for a week because of the threatened snow .....

..... Storm Erik brought warmer conditions but the wind and driving rain were less welcome.

However by the morning's end the bed (originally planted by CROW in 2007) had been cleared with some 400 stems of willow bundled ready for transporting to the Well Centre in Whitley where they will be used to create a woven edging to a garden.
