Paices Wood Country Park, Aldermaston ~ Birch and alder clearance (with bonfire)

Today we said goodbye to Elizabeth (Liz) Cooper from the Pang, Kennet and Lambourn Valley Countryside Project who is returning to north of England. To mark the occasion, the lunchtime menu consisted of sausages and baked potatoes cooked on the bonfire followed by cake - CROW certainly knows how to live!

We wish Liz all the very best for the future.
