Blundells Copse, Tilehurst ~ Coppicing (with bonfire)

We took the opportunity to burn some of the vegetation which had been cut during the recent widening of the adjacent footpath, as well as the brash created by our coppicing. The fire had also provided baked potatoes for lunch.

We are due to return to the site in a few weeks when we are to be joined by children from a local primary school learning about the wood and our work.
