Newtown Common, Newtown ~ Birch and pine clearance

Newbury & Thatcham Green Gym were joined by four employees from Accenture participating in the company's volunteering scheme, for their task clearing birch and Scots pine scrub. Many thanks for their help which is always welcome especially for tasks such as this, we hope they had an enjoyable morning and learnt something of the work that is necessary if heathland sites like Newtown Common are to continue to exist.
