February 2018 ~ Paices Wood Country Park, Aldermaston ~ Scrub clearance

Our Valentine's Day task cutting and burning scrub, a continuation of the work started the previous week by Newbury & Thatcham Green Gym.

As ever a bonfire was to be enjoyed.

The day ended thinning and scalloping a small patch of alder.

There are times when it's best to avert one's gaze.
