CROW (Conserve Reading on Wednesdays)
Sunday, 2nd October 2011
Wolf Conservation Trust, Beenham ~ Hedgelaying

Lunch break

As part of one of the Trust's Open Days, CROW returned to the site to resume laying the hedge on which they and the Pang Valley volunteers had been working during the previous winter.

Lunch break

As well as working on the hedge, we had an opportunity to see the many other activities which included archery and falconry.

The previous year's laid hedge

It was a beautiful early autumn day and the hedge we had laid the previous year was showing excellent signs of regeneration.
